Kakira African Dry Gin is distilled at the Kakira Sugar Estate near Lake Victoria, Uganda one of East Africa’s most renowned sugar producers. Using locally grown botanicals and pure sugarcane spirit, it’s copper-pot distilled to create a gin that reflects the freshness of its tropical origin. The aroma is juniper-driven, brightened by citrus peel, lemongrass, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it’s crisp and balanced, with layers of coriander, pepper, and ginger leading to a clean, dry finish. At 40 % ABV, it’s bold yet refined. The gin earned a Gold Medal at the European Spirits Challenge, recognized for its aromatic clarity and craftsmanship. Ideal in a classic G&T, Negroni, or simply enjoyed neat over ice with a citrus twist.
