Garnet red color with variable intensity depending on the vintage. The grapes come from different sub-zones in Serralunga and this gives them a broad and variable spectrum of perfumes, ranging from tempting spicy notes to those of a sweeter, floral, and fruity nature. A variety of sensations, with a full-bodied, classic and well structured wine which ages well and perfectly represents the important character of their land.
Perfumes: plums, raspberries, blueberry with some delicate wisteria hints. Taste: very easy to drink, with vibrant acidity; fleshy and juicy. Pairings: fresh curd cheeses, charcuterie, blanchemanger, risotti. (Service Temp.: 14°-16°C).

Fattoria Le Maestrelle is ruby red with purplish hues. It’s intense and complex on the nose with notes of vanilla and coffee in perfect balance with aromas of mint and cocoa typical of Merlot and red fruits characteristic of Sangiovese and Syrah. Its palate is balanced, savory and supple with a complex finish that reflects initial aromatic notes.
Chianti Superiore Santa Cristina is ruby red with purplish highlights. On the nose it is complex with fruity notes of morello cherries, dried plums and hay. Its palate is soft, mouth filling with velvety tannins and a long savory finish.
Villa Antinori 2018 is deep ruby red in color. Its nose is intense and complex defined by notes of wild berries; blueberries and blackcurrants, and notes of toasted hazelnuts, spices and vanilla. A full-bodied palate is well-rounded with supple velvety tannins and a long savory finish.

Tignanello was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques, the first contemporary red wine blended with untraditional varieties (specifically Cabernet) and one of the first red wines in the Chianti Classico region that didn’t use white grapes.
