This special release is made to not only embody the Barossa Valley, but to reflect the unique characteristics of the Ebenezer sub region. The Grenache vines of the Barossa Valley are some of the oldest in the world, and we celebrate their existence with this bright, fresh, fruit driven take on the variety. The grapes for this wine are sourced from several different vineyards across the Ebenezer region in the Barossa Valley. From two of our growers, the Hampel and the Schiller family sites, and also from our own Barossa Vineyard.
A light-bodied, cool climate Pinot Noir with pure and vibrant fruit characters. Aromatic on the nose with bright fruits of strawberry and cherries, a good acid structure, subtle savoury notes and fine tannins provide a smooth finish.
An intense garnet color with violet hues. The vibrant nose proffers aromas typical of the varietal; floral aroma of violets, and notes of fresh red and black fruits. The palate displays full bodied tannins and hints of rich dark chocolate and berry jam. An intense and complex Malbec with well-rounded acidity and a velvety finish.
A vibrant red color with violet undertones. Concentrated nose with notes of ripe blackberries, spicy hints of red and black pepper blended with vanilla and toasty aromas. The mouthfeel has great structure with round tannins, velvety texture and a persistent finish.
A deep purple, vibrant with red hues and a purple rim expressing aromas of plush fruits, cream, strawberries, raspberries, with some hints of spice and star anise. The oak is integrated nicely. A palate of pepper, spice, fresh juicy red and purple fruits, tight structure and good length. Good weight on the mid palate.
A deep red with purple magenta hues and a red rim proffering aromas of mocha, Christmas spice and vibrant florals, pomegranate, tomato leaf, spearmint and fresh red fruits. A palate of strawberry, sorbet and juicy red fruits with clean acid lines and fine structure. Medium length with some spice, very drinkable.
A dark red core with maroon hues and silver rim proferring aromas of spice, rhubarb, tobacco, red berry fruits and thyme. A light and bouncy palate with fresh, soft red fruits. Pinot like mouthfeel with cherry and raspberry, nice acid lines and fine tannins on the finish.
A rich dark crimson with cherry red hues proffering aromas of fresh cherries, spice, chocolate cake, briar and caramel with herbaceous hints, rhubarb, blackberry and some forest floor. A fresh, juicy acid palate with red fruits on the mid palate and food fruit sweetness coming through in black cherry and berries. Black currant, mushroom and bramble savouriness, good length completes a well-structured wine.
This wine is bold, rich, textured and remains wonderfully restrained and focused. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and earthy, savory notes of tobacco and herbs, vanilla, and cocoa. A full mouthfeel with a long and supple finish. It is an intense dark blue / purple in color with tremendous purity, depth, and focus. Tannins are elegant, and refined.
Ménage à Trois Zinfandel is wild at heart, with wanton displays of blackberry and vanilla spice on the nose, brambly berry jam flavors with hints of black pepper on the palate, and a lush, smooth finish. Brimming with passion and promising pleasure, this wine is all about kicking up your heels and having a good time. It’s the perfect way to spice up your night — either sipped on its own, or poured alongside sticky barbecued ribs, thick.
